The short version
This website doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you, and doesn't ask you for anything.
You can read every page of it, print every activity sheet, and play every game without telling us who you are.
Booking a lesson happens in our booking app, which has its own privacy notice.
Who we are
Ogden Otters is two businesses, and which one holds your details depends on what you got in touch about. Swimming lessons are Ogden Otters Swim School, a partnership of Samantha Wright and Stephen Wright. Everything else — aquacise, lane swimming, the wellness sessions, holiday clubs, parties — is Ogden Otters Swim Academy Limited, company number 16400146.

Samantha Wright is the person who deals with all of this. If you want to know what we hold about you, or you want it deleted, email ogdenotters@outlook.com or ring us on 01422 247500, and it comes to her.
What this notice covers
This notice is about this website — www.ogdenotters.co.uk — and nothing else.
Booking a lesson happens in our booking app, which is a separate thing at a separate address and has its own privacy notice. If you have an account with us, that is where your details live, not here.
Counting visits
We count how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. We use Plausible, which is built to do that without cookies and without following anybody from site to site.
It tells us things like “fourteen people looked at the timetable yesterday”. It doesn't tell us who they were, and there is nothing in it that could be traced back to you. That is also why there's no cookie banner to click away — there are no cookies to agree to.
We do this so we can see which parts of the site are worth the effort. Pages nobody reads get rewritten or removed.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, their servers keep a short technical record of requests, including the IP address they came from. That happens for security and to keep the site running, and we don't use it to identify anyone.
When you get in touch
If you fill anything in on this site, it opens an email for you to send. Nothing is stored on the website itself, and no third party sits in the middle — your message goes straight to our inbox at ogdenotters@outlook.com.
We use what you send us to answer you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't share it, and we don't add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.
We keep your message for a year, so we have a record of what was asked and what we said, and then we delete it.
The wellness waiting list
If you ask to be told when new wellness dates are released, we keep your email address so we can tell you.
We use it for that and nothing else, and you can ask us to take you off at any time by replying to any email or ringing us. We'll do it the same day.
Photographs
There are photographs of children on this site, taken at the pool. Every one of them is published with written permission from a parent or carer.
If you have given permission and changed your mind, email us and we'll take the photograph down. You don't have to give a reason.
Children
Oggy's Fun Zone is for children, and it is built so that a child cannot give us anything. There's no sign-up, no account, no score saved, nothing kept in the browser, and no timer or streak pushing them to carry on.
Close the tab and nothing of that visit is left anywhere.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop using it. Email ogdenotters@outlook.com and it goes straight to Samantha, who deals with it herself.
If you think we've got it wrong and we haven't put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for this, at ico.org.uk.

If what we do changes, we change this page. The date it was last looked at is at the top.
