If you miss a lesson
Tell us before the class starts and the lesson isn't lost. You get it back — either as a make-up session or towards a swim for the whole family.
Let us know first
Tell us any time before the lesson starts and we'll credit it. A child coming home from school poorly at four o'clock still counts — ring us or let us know on the app.
Let us know before the lesson if your child can't make it. If we don't hear from you we hold their place, so the lesson is used.

Make-up sessions
If you tell us before the lesson, you get the lesson back — we'll book you into another class. That covers illness and holidays alike.
Classes run full, so we can only take one make-up child into a class at a time. That means you might wait a little for a date that suits — but you'll get one. We don't turn make-ups down.
- You need to still be a member of the school to book a make-up. If you've given notice to leave, any make-ups must be booked and used before your leaving date.
- Make-ups should normally be booked for after the class you missed. Booking one in advance may be possible — just ask.
- If you can't make your make-up session, tell us before it — by phone, email or Facebook. The day before is best. If we don't hear from you, the session is lost.
Levels 1–8 · General hire
Family Pool Hire
The pool to yourselves, with everyone in together — not just the child who has the lessons.
Levelled classes run at capacity, so we can't slot a child into another class. Instead, missed lessons go towards a Family Pool Hire — time back in the pool for the whole family.
What your missed lessons get you
30 min
3 missed lessons — or £25
Up to 4 people over the age of 4. Under-4s are free.

Up to 4 people over the age of 4. Under-4s are free.
Not got three yet?
Three credits covers half an hour. With fewer than three you can still book and pay the difference — ask us and we'll work it out.

The deposit
£15 per session, and you get it back at the end. One deposit per session. Booking three sessions means three deposits.
You get it back if
- Nothing is damaged, and
- You attend the session you booked.
You don't if
- The session is missed without letting us know, or
- It's cancelled within 48 hours and we can't fill the space.
Who can come
4 people over four are included, and under-fours swim free. After that it's £5 each for half an hour (up to £40), or £10 each for an hour (up to £80).
Twelve people in the pool at most, adults and children together — under-4s included in that count, even though they don't pay.
The kit, and the sensible bits
- Equipment is there for you to use.
- Please look after it.
- Tell a member of staff straight away if something gets damaged.
- The cost of replacing damaged equipment may come out of your deposit.
- Everyone follows our Normal Operating Procedures and behaves safely.
- Sessions must be booked in advance. Keep your deposit receipt.
- Staff check the pool area at the end of each session before deposits are returned.
How long you've got
There's no limit on how many credits you build up and no time limit on them while your child is with us. The one rule is that you have to still be part of the swim school to use them — so if you're leaving, book them in before your last lesson. Credits don't carry over once you've left.
Not sure what you've got saved up?
Ring us and we'll tell you, and book it in while you're on.
