- Running on the wet tiles. Walk on the poolside. Wet tiles are slippery, and running is how people fall.
- Pushing somebody. Keep your hands to yourself. Never push anyone near water — they can't see it coming and they can't stop.
- Getting ready to dive in the shallow end. Don't dive here. Look for the signs, and get in the way your teacher showed you.
- Pulling on the lane rope. Leave the lane ropes alone. If you need a rest, hold on to the pool wall.
- Eating at the water's edge. Eat where you're meant to. Food by the pool is a choking risk, and the crumbs end up in the water.
- Splashing someone in the face. Keep the play gentle. A face full of water is frightening, and a frightened swimmer breathes it in.
- The wet patch by Oggy's feet. Water on the floor is slippery even when nobody is running. Walk, and tell somebody if a puddle needs mopping up.
- A bottle left on the walkway. Put drinks where they're meant to go, so nobody trips over them.
- Kit left where people walk. Put kickboards and flip-flops away. Keep the walkways clear.
